Terms & conditions of hire

When hiring from East Midlands Inflatables, inflatables and other services, we need you to agree to the following terms and conditions of hire. You will also need to read, and sign a disclaimer notice upon on deliver.

Bookings are accepted on the basis that the Terms and Conditions of Hire have been read and agreed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: East Midlands Inflatables team will be the same team who will collect the bouncy castle and equipment. They will know your Booking reference number from your email and will have East Midlands Inflatables uniform on. DUE TO POTENTIAL THEFT, WE DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO COLLECT THE EQUIPMENT ON OUR BEHALF! (You will be fully liable (NEGLIGENCE) for new replacements and costs if the equipment is collected by anyone else except East Midlands Inflatables. These are the Terms and Conditions of Hire of Bouncy Castles and Equipment which are based on the standards set out by the Health and Safety Executive and the Local Authority. Please read these carefully and booking online or by phone you are agreeing you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.

It is the responsibility of the person/s hiring the equipment to ensure that all the reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury or cause damage to the equipment. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed:

Hire Agreement and Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. The equipment has an age limit as specified in the equipment descriptions. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment at any time.

2. Please ensure that a responsible adult supervises the equipment at ALL times.

3. NO Shoes, glasses, sunglasses, jewellery, badges etc ALL must be removed before using the equipment.

4. No face paint, party poppers, confetti, coloured streamers or silly string to be used on or near the equipment. (A £10 cleaning fee will be chargeable)

5. No smoking or barbecues near the equipment.

6. NO Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls of the equipment this must NOT be allowed as this is very DANGEROUS.

7. No food, drinks or chewing gum is allowed on or near the equipment. This is to avoid the risk of choking and mess.

(Please note that if the equipment is collected in a dirty condition, then the hirer will incur a cleaning charge).

8. Always ensure the equipment is not over-crowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of the persons using it. Also ensure that the age range of those using the equipment is suitable according to the equipment description. Avoid large and small children from using the equipment at the same time.

9. No pushing, no colliding, no fighting or behaving in such a manner as to risk injury or cause distress to others.

10. No pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on the equipment. Any damage from such will carry a repair charge of £50

11. No running from side to side. This can cause inflatable to dislodge and topple over.

12. No bouncing on the front Step. Users could easily bounce off the equipment and get hurt. The step is only there to assist users to mount and dismount the equipment!

13. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems uses the equipment or anyone who is feeling unwell.

14. During inflation or deflation of the equipment, do not allow anyone on the equipment as this is DANGEROUS.

15. Please ensure that users do not attempt somersaults. No Somersaults.

16. Ensure that there is at least two feet clearance on each side of the equipment and at least 4ft feet at the rear.

17.The equipment should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If the equipment is not fitted with a rain/shower cover, it should not be used. Do Not use if Wet

18. In the event of heavy rain, ensure that the equipment remains inflated and cover any electrical extension cables and sockets. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

19. In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the equipment immediately. Check fuses and make sure that the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or that something has not blown onto the blower and is obstructing it.

20. Please have 2 forms of ID with at least one photo and your home address. For example your driving license, your passport, a recent utility bill or bank statement (This is essential for hires in venues/halls). Our delivery team may also request to take a photograph of the responsible person alongside the equipment for additional security purposes (Any photos taken will be deleted on collection of equipment). We reserve the right to refuse hire.

21. Please have full payment in cash ready to pay the delivery team (unless you have paid by cheque, bank transfer or other method in advance). Sorry we do not accept cheques or card payments to the driver.

22. Ensure that you do not plug in any of your own electrics into the extension cable there should only be East Midlands Inflatables equipment plugged in (note any damage to electrical equipment is chargeable to replacement value).

23. East Midlands Inflatables can not be held liable for any damage to property (indoors or outdoors) whilst delivering or collecting equipment. It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that our delivery/collection team has enough access and clearances also to inform us of any known underground services present when securing the equipment to the ground using ground stakes (anchors)

24. It is the Hirers responsibility to arrange adequate supervision of the children or vulnerable adults during setting up and packing away of the inflatable and equipment. Do not allow children or vulnerable adults to touch the equipment during setting up and packing away. East Midlands Inflatables can not be held responsible for children or vulnerable adults getting hurt on our equipment during setting up and packing away.

25. CANCELLATIONS: We have unfortunately found it necessary to implement a cancellation policy. For further details please see our CANCELLATION POLICY PAGE

26.SETTING UP/ PACKING AWAY DELAYS: The delivery team are under tremendous pressure to get all the deliveries and collections completed on time, so delivery/setting-up and collection/packing-away times are based on 25 minutes maximum each way. If there are any delays due to for example:

A) Gaining access

B) Inadequate parking distances of our vehicle outside the property or venue

C) Excessive distances to set-up point from our vehicle

D) Moving items like garden furniture, trampolines, etc

E) Taking down washing lines etc

F) Cutting overhanging branches or mowing the grass

G) Getting cash from cash point or any other. We reserve the right to cancel your booking. The delivery team may need to continue with other deliveries and then return later which may not be in time for the start of your event.

27. We reserve the right to refuse hire in the event that the Hirer or the Hirer's property is deemed unsuitable by us. Please check the sizes of the equipment and clearances required before delivery as full payment is due if inadequate space is available.

28. DIRT DEPOSIT: If there is a risk of the equipment becoming heavily soiled during hire, for example building works evident, excessive dirt and grass mix instead of a lawn, wanting to use face paints or simply just excessive persons at your event. The company reserves the right to charge a dirt deposit which will be fully refunded on collection provided the equipment is in the same condition as when it was delivered. (The dirt deposit is normally £20-£30 Cleaning charge)

It is essential that these rules are adhered to in order to protect the equipment and those using it. Should there be any questions/issues regarding this, please Contact us and resolve them prior to hire

BY BOOKING YOUR ASSETS ONLINE YOU AGREE TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Delivery Policy

The cost of delivering to a particular area will be revealed when you choose this area. We may be able to deliver outside the areas available on our website. If you are outside of the areas shown on our website, please contact us to see if we can help you out.

If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity and provide a full refund. Delivery times can be arranged during the booking process.

Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.

OVERNIGHT HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Overnight hires are subject to you having a secure garden (FENCED all around and GATED with a LOCK or BOLT).

2. Any removable equipment such as mats, extension leads, motors, blowers, etc must be locked up in the house or secure garage overnight.

3. The inflatable unit must be covered with the ground sheets if supplied to you so as to be out of the site from possible intruders and to help keep the equipment dry and clean.

4. The inflatable unit must be inflated the following day from 8 AM, dried and cleaned to the original condition that it was delivered to you. We will then examine (with you) the equipment to ensure there is no damage or missing equipment. Please ensure you are available for collection between 7AM and 12 noon

5. You will be charged for any damages will kept overnight. If the Overnight Hire Terms and Conditions are not adhered to. STAIN DAMAGE CAUSED BY PARTY POPPERS, STREAMERS, SILLY STRING, FOOD, DRINKS, ETC WILL BE CHARGED FOR!

6. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: In terms of damage and theft, our equipment whilst in your possession IS NOT COVERED BY OUR INSURANCE. If any of the equipment is damaged or stolen from your property then you will be liable to pay for the replacement costs in full. You may need to check with your house insurance to insure you are covered.

7. Finally, we reserve the right to refuse overnight hires if we deem our equipment to be at risk and if we are not happy with the security of your premises. In such cases the equipment will be picked up on the day of hire

NOTE: You will be asked to sign a copy of these Overnight Hire Terms and Conditions during delivery.
